Dr. Jennifer Cheng D.O. is a respected endocrinologist affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health, where she holds several key leadership positions. She serves as the Section Chief of Endocrinology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and the Associate Program Director for the Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Fellowship. Dr. Cheng is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

Specializing in endocrinology, Dr. Cheng's practice is based in Neptune, New Jersey, where she is part of the Hackensack Meridian Medical Group. Her clinical interests include managing diabetes, thyroid disease, and osteoporosis.

Dr. Cheng's medical education was completed at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She then undertook her residency in Internal Medicine at Swedish Hospital, a Midwestern University affiliate in Chicago. Following her residency, she completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at The Chicago Medical School.

In addition to her clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Cheng is actively involved in research. She has co-authored publications on topics such as the documentation and prevalence of obesity in hospitalized patients. Her hospital affiliations include Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
