Dr. Pingping Xiang, MD, PhD, is an Associate Scientist in the Department of Endocrinolgy at Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Pingping received her MD and PhD from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China. During her doctoral and postdoctoral training, her research has focused on thyroid cancer and autoimmune thyroid disease. Her current work explores the regulation and signaling mechanisms of the thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR) in thyroidal and extrathyroidal tissues. In her free time, she enjoys sports, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.
