Dr. Jillian L. Seiler, PhD, is a Lead Scientist at Endevica Bio, where she leads and oversees preclinical research programs focused on peptide therapeutics for obesity, cachexia, and related metabolic and neurobehavioral disorders. Her scientific expertise spans neuroendocrinology, addiction biology, behavioral pharmacology, and translational drug discovery.
Dr. Seiler earned her PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Illinois Chicago and completed postdoctoral training at Northwestern University. Her research has focused on the neural circuitry underlying motivation, reward processing, compulsive behavior, feeding, and substance use disorders, with particular interest in dopaminergic signaling and hypothalamic regulation of motivated behavior and metabolic function.
Her academic work has contributed to understanding how neural and hormonal signaling pathways interact to shape motivated behavior, energy balance, and disease pathology, resulting in multiple peer-reviewed publications and collaborative translational research efforts. In industry, Dr. Seiler applies this expertise to the development of peptide-based therapeutics, advancing programs from mechanistic preclinical studies toward clinical translation.
Dr. Seiler is passionate about bridging neuroscience, endocrinology, and translational medicine to develop innovative therapies for disorders with significant unmet medical need.
