Dr. Laya Ekhlaspour is a pediatric endocrinologist and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco. Her research focuses on the use of technology among children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes. Her research has focused on testing and developing novel diabetes technologies, including continuous glucose monitors, automated insulin delivery systems, and novel insulin formulations. She has been an investigator on multiple NIH, Breakthrough T1D, and industry-funded studies.
