Her research is focused on Obesity, Obesity-related Diabetes and Reproductive Endocrinology in a clinical and translational perspective, leading an interdisciplinary working group that uses a variety of molecular and clinical approaches, including clinical trials, to understand how energy and glucose homeostasis are regulated and can be retuned through medical interventions to target cardio-renal-metabolic non-communicable diseases.
