Dr. Adrian Vella is a Professor of Medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and has been on staff at Mayo Clinic Rochester since June 2001 after completing the Clinician-Investigator training track. He subsequently completed two-years as a Mayo Foundation Scholar at the Cambridge Institute of Medical Research in Cambridge, UK. Currently, he directs a program funded by the National Institutes of Health aimed at understanding the pathogenesis of prediabetes and factors affecting islet function. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of hypoglycemic disorders.
