Zhenqi Liu, MD, is the James M. Moss Professor of Diabetes and Professor of Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He is a board-certified endocrinologist whose academic interests include insulin and incretin action, endothelial function, vascular biology, and energy metabolism. Dr. Liu has served on multiple endocrine society committees and currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of the Endocrine Society. He previously served as Chief of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Virginia.
