He has been working as a physiology professor in the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul Okan University since he retired from Firat University in 2022. He has more than 80 articles which were publshed in many international journals. His topic research area is on neuroendocrinology. He was elected a fellow of the International Union of Physioloical Sciences Academy in 2021.
