Lila Dabill is a fourth year PhD student in the biomedical engineering program at Washington University in St. Louis in Dr. Erica Scheller's lab. She is studing the role of a neural enzyme called Sarm1 in the onset of high fat diet induced obesity and metabolic dysfunction. Her current work focuses on the gut-brain axis and the role of Sarm1 in enteric neuropathy.
