Dr. Shireen R. Chacko, M.B.B.S. is a third-year Endocrinology Fellow at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, with a clinical and research interest in pituitary and adrenal disorders. She trained at the Christian Medical College, Vellore, in India, an institution which formed the foundation for her approach to patient care. She completed her residency at the Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital where she served as a Chief Resident and had opportunities to engage in mentorship and teaching. Her research focuses on Cushing syndrome, a complex and often devastating disease. She is passionate about combining patient care with research and teaching and is driven by a commitment to improving patient outcomes. Following completion of her fellowship training, she will join Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She is deeply grateful for the opportunity to have trained at Mayo Clinic, and hopes to carry forward the knowledge and mentorship she has gained throughout her training into the next stage of her career.
