Robert J. Weber, MD, PhD is an assistant professor at UCSF in the division of endocrinology. In his research, he has focused on hyperaldosteronism in the lab of Dr. David Pearce focusing on how alterations in mTORC2 signaling affect aldosterone production and potassium balance.
Dr. Weber earned both his medical degree and a doctorate in chemistry and chemical biology through the UCSF Medical Scientist Training Program. He also completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in endocrinology at UCSF, serving as chief fellow.
In addition to caring for patients, Weber teaches medical students and residents in a variety of settings.
