Dr. Noelle Gillis, PhD, is a Faculty Scientist in the Department of Medicine at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. Her research focuses on nuclear receptor signaling in endocrine-related cancers, with an emphasis on mechanisms of therapy resistance and cancer stem cell plasticity in breast and thyroid cancer. Using genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic approaches, her work seeks to identify novel therapeutic strategies to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Gillis's research has been supported by the National Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society.
