Dr. Scott Isaacs is a board-certified endocrinologist based in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his undergraduate degree, medical degree, and completed his residency and fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Emory University, where he now serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr. Isaacs is Past President of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE) and co-chair of the AACE Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of MASLD. He is also an author of the American Diabetes Association’s guidance on MASLD in people with type 2 diabetes and a contributor to the AACE Type 2 Diabetes Management Algorithm. Dr. Isaacs lectures nationally and internationally on MASLD and MASH, educating healthcare professionals through conferences, symposia, and grand rounds.
