Dr. Umasuthan Srirangalingam is a Consultant Endocrinologist at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Cleveland Clinic London. He completed his medical degree at the University of Edinburgh followed by specialist training at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. He obtained his PhD focusing on the modification of splicing in hormonal systems using antisense strategies and went on to gain an NIHR Clinical Lectureship developing an interest in adrenal disease and the familial paraganglioma syndromes. He is currently the principal investigator on a number of early and late phase clinical trials for new therapeutics targeting the HPA axis and in particularly Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia.
