Chinasa Ufondu is a Pharmacist by training and is currently a doctoral student at the Pharmacology department of the University of Minnesota. In the Ostrander lab, her research focuses on understanding how the early loss of E-cadherin drives alters cellular metabolism and drives invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC), a subtype of breast cancer. She loves science communication and mentoring younger scientists.
