Dr. Andrew Demidowich, MD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Johns Hopkins Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and his fellowship in Endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health. Following fellowship, he joined Johns Hopkins, where he serves as Chief of Inpatient Endocrinology at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center.
Dr. Demidowich’s clinical and research interests focus on improving the delivery of inpatient diabetes care and investigating the relationships among obesity, inflammation, and metabolic dysregulation. He serves as Chair of the Johns Hopkins Council of Clinical Excellence in Inpatient Diabetes and as Chair of the national Epic Endocrine Subspecialty Steering Board.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Demidowich enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, exploring the outdoors, and playing ice hockey.
