Amie Ogunsakin, MD is Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Director of Endocrinology at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. She leads inpatient and outpatient endocrine services and contributes to education and mentorship within the division. Dr. Ogunsakin earned her medical degree from the University of Ilorin College of Health Sciences in Nigeria, completed her Internal Medicine–Pediatrics residency at Wright State University, and trained in Endocrinology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. She is board-certified in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Endocrinology. Her work focuses on diabetes, metabolic disorders, and improving endocrine care delivery.
