This session will describe recent advances in the diagnosis and management of posterior pituitary pathology.

  • To describe the new means of assessing Arginine vasopressin deficiency and their comparison to the water deprivations test
  • To discuss the impact of oxytocin deficiency and what therapeutics are being assessed or used
  • Discuss the role copeptin might play in the assessment of emergency admissions
  • Discuss the differential diagnosis, methods of diagnosis, diagnose and treat post pituitary tumors
