Metabolic-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) lies at the intersection of obesity, insulin resistance, and cardiovascular risk. This session will connect the physiologic and pathophysiologic underpinnings of MASH with strategies for comprehensive metabolic management, emphasizing lifestyle interventions and treatment of associated cardiometabolic disorders. It will also address the therapeutic potential and safety of thyroid hormone receptor agonists as novel agents for hepatic steatosis and fibrosis. Together, these talks provide an integrated view of disease mechanisms, clinical management, and emerging pharmacologic opportunities for improving outcomes in MASH.
